Rihanna is doing good for herself, Good Girl Gone Bad in my opinion is better than B-Day. People like to say that Rihanna will never reach Beyonce’s success and popularity but you have to keep in mind that Beyonce gained a lot of popularity through Destiny’s Child and Rihanna started out by herself.

Beyonce has been out since what 98 or 2000 some shit with that backstabbing group Destiny’s Child with her uppity daddy! What Beyonce has accomplished is not because of talent b/c her voice is ok. I was a fan at first but I think (and the record shows) that Beyonce is getting what she deserves now. She’s 27, Rihanna is what 21 they are pushing Beyonce out the way b/c she is damn near 30. Look what Beyonce has to do to sell so many records and most of her album sales aren’t accounted for. PAYOLA! is the word! From her Dangerously in Love cd Sony Music was sued b/c of cd’s that were counted in her so called 130 million sold worldwide. That’s why she struggled with B-day and had to put out 8 videos and do the (so-called hustle) to get ahead and Rihanna still beat her. Bottomline alot of these artist get away with a lot. But Beyonce has been called out on her bullshit quite a few times and she would have to pay for it sooner or later. Beyonce is not the highest paid female artist. And she is definitely not the most talented. Rihanna’s voice is not that great to me either. But they can sound a like to me at times b/c neither one have the best of voices.
B-day was a corny ass album minus Kittykatt which I like. But her fans need to get over it. She’s cute but not that cute, she’s ok with her vocals but it can be very annoying at times.

This may be Beyonce’s second cd and Rihanna’s third but Beyonce has been out for around 10 years, she was the leader of a very successful group, she had a steady fanbase by the time she released her first album, Rihanna didn’t, Rihanna was a stranger, Rihanna was just some girl from the islands who people had never heard of. That’s great for Rihanna but is it really an achievement, Good Girl Gone Bad came out in 07 and B’day in 06 so of course it would sell more this year because it was more recently released. Good Girl Gone Bad outsold B’day the Deluxe Edition not the original version.
and Rihanna is controlled by Jay Z, he signed her and she is his mentor along with La Reid, all she is a polished Fefe Dobson with great singles and hot marketing, i like Rihanna but i dont take her seriously, as soon as a hotter girl with hotter looks, hotter singles and hotter marketing comes along, Rihanna would have to think twice about calling herself the IT girl of 05-09.

The number of people that can be named for an Oscar for a song in a movie is three, she was the fourth. When she said she wrote “Irreplaceble” she was in London at a concert. She told the audience that she wrote this song for the ladies, of course she lied. Now Micheal Jackson sold like 50 or 60 million records with just Thriller world wide now you think Beyonce alone and Destiny’s Child sold 120 to 150 million? Come on now. It doesn’t work that way. She sold about 30 to 50 million with Destiny’s Child (this is world wide) and about 10 to 12 million (world wide) with her two, so that is about 62 million with the highest world wide. Now we will see what this next will do. People do your homework and read on your own and stop listening to people and I know you didn’t hear it on American Music awards because it hasn’t came on yet. And then do their homework, now they might have said 50 million albums worldwide. The truth is Beyonce and her people add the DC sales and to Beyonce’s numbers which is deceptive. Take Beyonce individually and she doesn’t stack up next Alicia/Britney/Janet. Beyonce is all about hype and wanting to be #1 all the time. She doesn’t concentrate on making great music, that can be played 10 years from now. I love Beyonce & Rihanna, but when it comes to choosing, I would choose Rihanna. Her sound is more “pop/dance” which I love. I Am…Sasha Fierce is Bey’s 3rd solo album….Good Girl Gone Bad is Rihanna’s 3rd album.
Now, Rihanna’s first single had HUGE international success from GGGB. Beyonce’s two singles haven’t yet matched that success.
Don’t Stop The Music was another international hit for Rihanna. The song is phenomenal.
Umbrella, Take A Bow, Disturbia, all #1 hits on the Hot 100. Making her the biggest charting female success OF this decade, and I doubt Beyonce will achieve that title with her latest effort.
Rihanna is the shit when it comes to music, she does mediocre album sales.

Beyonce’s voice is wayyyy better then rihanna’s. beyonce is so much more talented then rihanna!! she can sing, dance and act. so what if she aint the best actor, how many movies has rihanna acted in?? Wrong. The ONLY artists to sell that many records (150 mil+) are Michael Jackson., The Beatles, and Elvis Presley (among a few others). Beyonce sold no where NEAR that many. Get your facts straight, and I really wish peopole would stop worshipping this chick. Here’s something too: Beyonce’s album was out in 2006. Rihanna’s in 2007. Of course Rihanna would get more sales of her album in the year 2007! Add up the sales figures of B’Day from 2006 and that will surpass Rihanna’s numbers.
